You Color Me

Sky and sunlight paint the sea:
silver shimmers and blue serenity.
We are one with all we see. You color me.

I see you glow with tan so deep:
glistening skin, like fine brewed pekoe tea.
Your amber eyes seize all they see. You color me.

Some times are golden; some times blue.
Sometimes I find colors to color you.

White can stand for purity.
Red is passion and green means jealousy.
Blue is sad. I see clearly you color me.

A shooting star blazed by and we
contemplated what it means.
The pure gold moon lights what we see. You color me.

The sea is warm, wide, and deep.
A storm is raging while we sleep.
As lightning strikes to light the scene, you color me.

Some times are golden; some times blue.
Sometimes I find the colors to color you.

I like blue berries and grapes of green,
ruby cherries, and orange tangerines…
In all I taste, I touch and dream, you color me.
